SILOAM SPRINGS - Levon Dee Winningham, 67, of Siloam Springs died June 1, 2005, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. He was born May 1, 1938, in Bradford to Cleo and Lola Goad Winningham. He was a self-employed diesel mechanic and lived in little Rock and Lincoln before moving to Siloam Springs 35 years ago. He was the first recipient in the state of Arkansas to be awarded a GED. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Leisa Winningham, and one grandson, Justin Winningham.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mae Clark Winningham of the home; one son, Levon Dee Winningham Jr. of Siloam Springs; two daughters, Tammy Anady of Avoca and Sheena Daniel and husband, Phil of Bentonville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Balton Winningham of West Siloam Springs, Okla., Louis Winningham of Evansville and Gary Winningham of Alma; four sisters, Doralee Mitchell of Tontitown, Liz Keeton of Siloam Springs, Sharon Kay Narcomey and May Catron both of Sallisaw, Okla.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs with Randy Sutterfield and Charles Lauchner officiating.
