Sara Morgan McRae was age 13 and a resident of De Queen, Arkansas.
She was born in Texarkana, Texas, to Phil and Sharon Daniel McRae. She was an honor student at De Queen Middle School where she loved all sports and was involved in basketball and track. She attended The First Baptist Church in De Queen.
She is survived by her parents, one brother, Cole McRae; grandparents, Sterling and “Pud” Daniel and James and Loretta McRae all of De Queen; great grandparents, Coleman and Helen McRae of De Queen.
Morgan lived life to the fullest, loved her family and animals and enjoyed the outdoors.
Funeral Services for Morgan will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2009 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Charles Hebert and Mike Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Sevier County Humane Society or the Morgan McRae Basketball Camp for Girls Scholarship at the First State Bank in De Queen
