KIRKPATRICK, J.A. - J.A. Kirkpatrick died last evening at six o'clock at the home of his son, John Kirkpatrick, on North fifth Street in this city. Death was the result of Brights Disease. The funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Christian church under the auspices of the G.A.R. Mr. Kirkpatrick and wife come here last week from Peirce City, Mo. with the intention of locating. He had been in poor health for some time but his sudden death was a great shock to the family. He was a War veteran and was 71 years, 5 months and 10 days old. The children present from out of town are Miss Anna Kirkpatrick and Frank Kirkpatrick, Peirce City, Mo.; Will Kirkpatrick, Chickasha, Okla. and Ed Kirkpatrick, Mill Creek, Okla.
