Teddy Joe Pike, age 61, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Born in Heber Springs on November 10, 1949, he was the son of Rena Verl Hodges Pike and the late James Forest Pike.
A longtime resident of Cleburne County, Joe was a carpenter. He was a member of the Howard General Baptist Church at Quitman.
Joe is survived by his wife, Dianne Trawick Pike of Quitman; one son, Eli Pike of Quitman; two daughters, Dena Barger and her husband, Roger, and Mandy Farris and her husband, Keith, all of Quitman; his mother, Rena Verl Pike of Quitman; two sisters, Alice Johnson and Patricia Treat and her husband, Bill, all of Quitman; and four grandchildren, Jonathon Pike, Madison Pike, Rachel Barger, and Kelsey Farris. Joe is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Howard General Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Center Point Cemetery.
