Earle Sims, age 88 of Melbourne died September 10, 1993. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs Sims was born December 18, 1904 at Gid, daughter of the late Patrick and Lucy Adkisson Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, R.J. Sims. She is survived by: two sons, Euan Sims of Andover, Kansas; and Harold Sims of Wichita, Kansas; four daughters, Laverne Moser of Sage; Wanda Robertson of Wichita, Kansas; Zelda Banning and Betty Craig, both of Wenatchee, Washington; two sisters, Myrl Anderson of Mt. Pleasant and Roxie Bolen of Corning, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Services were September 13, 1993 at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Hoover Lewis officiating. Burial was at Reeves Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Batesville Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Alan Sims, Kerry Sims, Eddie Sims, Junior Sims, Marvin Moser, Joe Moser and Jim Harris. - White River Currant, Calico Rock, Arkansas.
