Roy Virgil Thomason, Sr, 91, of Damascus, died Sunday, May 2, 2010, at his home. He was born November 17, 1918, in Damascus, a son of the late Hiram Thomason and Ruth (Fowler) Thomason.
Mr Thomason was an Army Veteran of World War II; and served in the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a retired mechanic and had worked for Boeing Aircraft.
Survivors are his daughter, Evelyn Joyce Price of Richardson, Texas; sons, Roy Thomason, Jr. and wife, Linda of Plano, Texas; Paul Thomason and girlfriend, Patricia Daniel Estes of Damascus; grandchildren, Carla Ann, Scotty, Denice, Michael, Randy Jay, Rebeca, John, Drew; great-grandsons, Daniel, Justin, Ethan; great great-grandchildren, Travis, Mikala, Austin; a brother, Ober Thomason of Wichita, Kansas; and a number of nephews and nieces.
