1960 - January 29, 1968
Lori Jeanean Gibson, seven year old daughter o Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Gibson, star route 1, Van Buren, died Monday, Jan. 29 in a local hospital following a short illness which showed the dangerous symptoms of meningitis.
Lori was in the second grade at Cedarville school, an honor student and outstanding in all school activities. Last year she was queen of her class.
Besides the parents, survivors are two brothers, Mark Eldon Gibson, 12 years old and Clay Everett Gibson, five years old, both of the home; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edith Gibson of route 2, Van Buren; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Cooper of Tonkawa, Okla.
A graveside service was held at the Dripping Springs cemetery Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Vance Wiley, pastor of the First Baptist church of Cedarville, officiating. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
