CLINE, J. Wade - Died, in this city on Saturday evening, 30th ult. of pneumonia, J. Wade Cline, aged 22 years. The subject of this notice, the son of our esteemed fellow citizen, Mark Cline, was a member of the Sophomore class and one of the most exemplary and faithful students of the Arkansas Industrial University. If the universal esteem of teachers and fellow-students could make one fortunate, then indeed was our young friend favored beyond most of his companions. Generous, faithful and true, he was a model and an example. And as we laid him to rest on the hill near the home of his childhood, we felt that a life had gone out which should leave sweet memories behind it - a life brief, incomplete, unfinished, it is true, but yet one which had made the world better and purer for its presence among men. Then turning to the realities of the great hereafter we recalled the words of that Sinless Teacher who declared that "the pure in heart shall see God;" and in confidence we left him in the hands of that Judge who will do right.
