Arthur LaVerne "Big 6" Holloway, 70, of Warren, died May 11, 2002, at Wagnon Place Nursing Center at Warren.
He was born on March 19, 1932, in Bradley County, a son of the late Arthur Holloway and Lena Ann Edwards Holloway.
He was a Baptist.
He was a pipeliner. He was a member of Local 798 at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He served in the Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Dawkins Holloway, whom he married on September 4, 1963; three daughters, Beverly Reep and Linda Fuller, both of Warren, and Lee Foster of Monticello; a brother, Curtis Holloway of Branchville, South Carolina; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Frazer's Funeral Home at Warren with the Revs. Larry Donaldson and Joey Lisemby officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the YMCA of Warren or the American Heart Foundation.
