FAY WHITTLE
Fay Whittle, 71, Rt. 3, Springdale, died Aug. 19 in City Hospital, Fayetteville. Born Jan. 6, 1904, at Spring Valley, he was the son of Hartzel L. and Della Ellenbarger Whittle, a member of Pilgrim Rest Free Will Baptist Church and a retired employe of Welch's Foods.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Steinberg Whittle of the home; three sons, Bob Whittle and Cecil Whittle, Springdale, and Floyd Whittle, Dallas, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Curtis (Betty) Counts, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Perryman and Mrs. Carlton (Christine) Corbin, all of Springdale, and Mrs. Frank (Gracie) Willis, Clare, Ill.; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.

Grace Whittle
Grace Emaline Whittle, 89, of Springdale died Jan. 22, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Dec. 9, 1905, in Duncan, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Grace Emaline Sturdivant Steinberg. She was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ, a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the area. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay Whittle, on Aug. 19, 1975, to whom she was married Jan. 29, 1928, and by one daughter, Gracie Willis.
Survivors include three sons, Bob Whittle and Cecil Whittle, both of Springdale, and Floyd Whittle of Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Betty Counts, Mary Perryman and Chris Namdari, all of Springdale; one brother, Charles Steinberg of Joplin, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sisco Chapel of Springdale with the Rev. Curtis Counts officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dan Perryman, Shawn Jones, Dean Whittle, Mike Perryman, Everett Whittle and Pete Stevens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
