Sarah R. Arnold Caraway, 92 of Horseshoe Bend, daughter of the late William and Mandy Tinkle Arnold, died February 21, 1993 in the Calico Rock Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1900 in Guion. She was a homemaker and a mother. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: one sister, Oma Moser of Kansas City, Missouri; one grandchild, Junior Ray Caraway of Russellville; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Richard Caraway; one son, Ray Caraway; one sister, Betty Campbell and two brothers, Lewis and Kinley Arnold. Services were held Tuesday, February 23, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the Howard Chapel in Melbourne. Pallbearers were Scotty Chism, Larry Gregg, Junior Caraway, Hoyt Davis, Conway Hames and Shawn Masker. Burial followed in Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Melbourne.
