Janet B. McCarter
ROGERS — Janet B McCarter, 82, of Rogers died Aug. 30, 2002, at her son's home in Paradis, La. She was born July 26, 1920, in St. Cloud, Minn., to Louise and Laura M Wink Hohman.
She moved to the Rogers area in 1961 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and reading.
Her husband, Thomas B. McCarter. whom she married Dec.18, 1944, preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Richard McCarter of Paradis; two daughters, Patricia Lawrence and Mary Lou King, both of Rogers; two sisters, Mary Lou Hitchcock and Doris Martin, both of Minnesota; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Rogers, with Monsignor Richard Oswald officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hills Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
