Leo Wylie Pope, age 90, of Bossier City, LA. (formerly of Warren, AR.), died Sunday March 23, in Fairfax, VA. Born March 8, 1918 in Johnsville, AR. a son of the late Milton Wylie Pope and Florence Craig Pope he was a retired Chief Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II, Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member Christian Fellowship Church, a Shriner, Mason and member Order Eastern Star. Also, preceding him in death was a daughter Catherine Penelope Furtado, brother Herman Pope and a sister Virginia Pope. Survivors are his wife Geneva Doggett Pope whom he married May of 1941. 1 son Brett Pope, Reston, VA. 1 sister Earldean Metcalf, Fresno, CA. 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 29, Frazer's Chapel. Burial with flag presentaion Oakland Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren, AR. Funeral Date 3/29/2008
