Tom Haley, 90, of Warren, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock.
The son of John Thomas Haley Sr. and Mary Crook Haley, he was born Jan. 6, 1918, in Dermott. He received his education at Dermott Schools, Arkansas A&M, Hendrix College and George Washington University. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and practiced law in Warren in the law firm of Martin and Haley. At his retirement, he was counsel to the firm of Haley, Claycomb, Roper and Anderson. He was a member of the Arkansas Bar Association. He was a member and an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Warren, where he served on the Building Committee. He was city attorney for the City of Warren from 1948 until 1986.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, William Bryan Haley; and a sister, Mildred Haley Graves.
Survivors include his wife, Anne Crow Haley.
Committal services will be held at 3:45 p.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery in Warren under the direction of Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Warren. A reception will follow the services.
