CANE HILL — Anna Belle Winsted, 81, of Cane Hill died April 1, 1995, at Stilwell Nursing Home in Stilwell, Okla. She was born March 28, 1914, in El Paso, Texas, to James and Mary Bossa Hines. She was a member of the Vineyard Community Church where she was a long-time Sunday school teacher and was a substitute teacher at the Evansville school.

Survivors include her husband, Rex Winsted of the home; one son, Eddie Winsted of Evansville; one daughter, Virginia Scott of Fayetteville; two sisters, Mary Hawkins of Stilwell and LaVerne Bush of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Rodney of Prairie Grove and Debbie Winsted of Branson, Mo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Vineyard Community Church near Evansville with the Rev. Dave Harris officiating. Burial will be in Vineyard Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.

VINEYARD COMMUNITY — Rex W. Winsted, 99, a resident of Vineyard Community, went to be with his Lord on Jan. 9, 2015, in Vineyard Community. He was born Sept. 22, 1916, in Stilwell, Okla., the son of James Hamilton and Bess Marie Hoffman Winsted.

He was a member of the Vineyard Community Church for 65 years.

He had worked for Vancouver Door Factory in Washington before enlisting in the United States Army where he served as a Military Policeman in Japan.

He married Anna Belle Hines on Jan. 3, 1942. He later returned to Arkansas where he raised cattle until his retirement.

Rex was preceded in death by his wife Anna Belle; his parents; three brothers, Audrey, Bryce and Earl Winsted; and one sister, Lina Baker.

Survivors include his son, Eddie Winsted and wife Judy of Evansville; one daughter, Virginia Scott and husband David of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Debbie Barton and Rodney Winsted.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Vineyard Community Church, Burial will be in the Vineyard Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ted Eversoll, Johnny Swain, John Wilhite, Ken Thomas and Derrick Isaacs.
