Al Faubus, 82, Elkins, died May 5 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born July 13, 1894, at Delaney, he was the son of Robert Greene and Ava Jane Blevins Faubus and member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mayme Robbins Faubus of the home to whom he was married Aug. 19, 1916; one son Bob Faubus, Elkins; one brother, Morgan Faubus, Elkins; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pool, Elkins, Mrs. Bonnie Jones and Mrs. Elizabeth Baldock, Springdale; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Elkins Church of Christ. Burial will be in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville. The body will lie in state Friday in Elkins Church of Christ from noon-2 p.m.

Mayme Faubus, 93, of Elkins, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, at Fayetteville City Hospital. Born Aug. 21, 1900, in Madison County, the daughter of Enos and Kathryn Hard Robbins, she was a homemaker and a member of Elkins Church of Christ.
Survivors are a daughter-in-law, Clarice Faubus of Elkins: four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Elkins Church of Christ with Lacy Randall and Leland Couch officiating. Burial will be in McCord Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
