Note unusual epitaph
Clara Carter, 97, of Fort Smith, Arkansas died Saturday, December 23, 2000, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker, attended the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Fort Smith. She is the last member of her immediate family and widow of Ernest Carter.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Dripping Springs Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
