SILOAM SPRINGS — William J. "Bill" Cartwright, 91, of Siloam Springs died Aug. 3, 2005, at Springdale Nursing and Rehab. He was born July 19, 1914, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., to Charles Wesley and Bernadette Langlois Cartwright. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the merchant marines. He was an iron worker and the general organizer for the international Association of Bridge Structural and Ornamental Iron Workers He was a Catholic. His wife, Juanita Cartwright died in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, David Cartwright of Houston and Charley Cartwright of Siloam Springs; three grandchildren, Anna Rose Cartwright and Cheryl Lynn Cartwright, both of Plantation, Fla., Rebecca Jeanne Cartwright of Orlando, Fla.; one great-grandchild, Taylor Ann Gayton of Plantation, one daughter-in-law, Lana H. Cartwright of Vernon, Fla.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. today at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Clayton Gould officiating. To sign the online guest book, visit www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
