Mrs. John Sheffield, 58, died last night at Sapulpa, Okla. of pneumonia and complications. She was formerly of Bentonville and was known there as Lillie Hamilton, daughter of Mrs. Maude Hamilton. The deceased is survived by her mother, her husband; 2 daughters, Miss Margaret and Mrs. Jeff Taylor of Sapulpa, Okla.; 3 sisters, Mrs. G.E. Hildebrandt, Mrs. Whitley Kerr and Mrs. Arlie Beck of Bentonville; and 5 brothers, Frank, Rollin L. and Eugene Hamilton all of Bentonville and Will of Springfield and Bob of Wichita. Funeral services were held at Sapulpa this afternoon before the body was shipped to Bentonville where another service will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Christian church in Bentonville. Rev. James of Sapulpa will accompany the family to the old home in Bentonville and will conduct the services.

SHEFFIELD, Lillie HAMILTON - Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church here yesterday afternoon for Mrs. John Sheffield of Sapulpa, Okla. who died Monday night of influenza followed by pneumonia. She was 58 years of age. Funeral services were also held in Sapulpa Tuesday afternoon. Her pastor, Rev. James, of Sapulpa conducted both services. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Maude Hamilton of this city, her husband, John Sheffield; two daughters, Mrs. Jeff Taylor and Miss Margaret Hamilton, both of Sapulpa; five brothers, Gene, Frank, and Rollin of Bentonville, Will of Springfield and Bob of Wichita, and by three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Beck, Mrs. Whitley Kerr and Mrs. G.E. Hildebrandt, all of Bentonville. Mrs. Sheffield was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.G. Hamilton and was born near Linneus, Mo. January 27, 1871. When three years of age she moved with her parents to Bentonville where she grew to womanhood. On April 28, 1898 she was married in Bentonville to John Sheffield and made her home here until 1917 when they moved to Sapulpa.
