Jerald Wayne Wyatt, 64
Jerald Wayne Wyatt, son of Hazel Porterfield Wyatt of Calico Rock and the late Robert Oran Wyatt, was born June 15, 1948 near Wild Cherry, Arkansas. He departed this life August 17, 2012 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 64 years, 2 months and 2 days.
He was united in marriage to June Roberts on April 30, 1971 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and to this union one son was born. Jerald spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, Paw Paw, father-in-law, provider and friend. He was a long time businessman in Calico Rock, owning and operating Jerald's Station for 38 years. He attended Community Methodist Church in Wild Cherry.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years: June Wyatt of the home; one son and daughter-in-law: Kevin and Bethany Wyatt of Pineville; his mother: Hazel Wyatt of Calico Rock; one brother and sister-in-law: Weldon and Wilma Wyatt of Calico Rock; two granddaughters: Natalie and Chloe Wyatt of Pineville and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Gale Wooten and Marty Sanders officiating. Burial will be at Trimble Campground Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation will be Monday, August 20 from 6-8p.m.
Pallbearers: Rick Knowles, Ronnie Guthrie, Rick Estes, Mark Hayes, Bobby Lindsey, Tom Green. Honorary Pallbearers: Norman Mason, Lloyd Chandler, Eugene Sullins and Rick Fountain.
Memorials may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
