Sam Bob Donovan, 71, of Orange, Texas, formerly of Warren, Arkansas, died April 19, 2000, at his home.
He was born June 13, 1928, at Warren, a son of the late Tom Donovan and Myrtle Nicholson Donovan.
He received his education at the Warren Public Schools and served in the Marines during World War II.
He was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Orange. He was a Mason and member of the Warren Lodge 33.
He was employed by Brown and Root and had previously retired from the American Federation of Sheet Metal Workers Association.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Donovan; five sisters, Juanita Mew, Gladys Gladney, Eddie Mae Wright, Geraldine Melton and Martha Marie LeNarz who raised him.
