Cecil Clyde White

SPRINGDALE — Cecil Clyde White, 86, of Springdale died Sept. 25, 2004, at Springdale. He was born June 13, 1918, in Green Forest to William Authur and Ethyl Stark White. He was an Army veteran of World War II and he worked as a self-employed carpenter until he retired.

His wife, Juanita Jackson White, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Eugene Fields of Garfield and William H. White of Springdale; one sister, Mary Drymon of Cave Springs; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Ray Main officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to p.m. today at the funeral home.
