Age 49
Crate Easter, age 49, a former resident of El Dorado died Monday in Hot Springs. He was born in Emerson, February 14, 1915, and he was the son of Bell and Mollie Easter. Survivors are: four daughters, and one son, all of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Effie Curry and Mrs. Alice Washington, both of Monroe, La.; Mrs. Reversie Armstrong, El Dorado; and two brothers, Bill Easter, Detroit, Mich.; and Chess Easter, Dallas, Tex. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Mt. Israel C.M.E. Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Israel Cemetery under the direction of Sims & Shaw Mortuary.
