CALICO ROCK — Flora Lorene Sanders Hicks, 92, of Calico Rock died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, in Mountain Home.

Born Feb. 14, 1920, in Pineville, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Ellen Powell Sanders. She was united in marriage to Floyd Hicks on Feb. 20, 1937, in Rodney. She was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Calico Rock United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 75 years; two daughters, Mary Katherine Kollman of Willard, Ohio, and Judy Ann McCay of Canton, Ga.; four grandchildren, Mark Kollman, Matthew Kollman, Jonathan McCay and Neil McCay; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Chester Sanders; and two sisters, Lola Birdsong and Hattie Stockard.

The funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calico Rock Funeral Chapel with Mike Smith officiating. Burial was in Pineville Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock.

Pallbearers were Linda Trillingham, Gloria Lindsey, Jante Risley, Ida Otten, Lea Erby and Carol Hicks.

Honorary pallbearers were Jerri Gordon, Nancy Smith, Jessie Hicks and Bobbie Davis.

Memorials may be made to Calico Rock United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 369, Calico Rock, Arkansas, 72519.
