Mrs. Nettie Hess, 66 years old of Uniontown, Arkansas, died Wednesday evening, January 18, 1967 in a local hospital. She was born April 14, 1900 at Uniontown, the daughter of Martin and Martha Matlock Snow, widely known family of Crawford county, and was a member of the Uniontown Christian church. She was the wife of the late Albert Monroe Hess and had been a resident of Lubbock, Texas for a number of years before returning to Uniontown about six years ago.
Survivors are two brothers, Henry of Van Buren and Ned of Uniontown; five sisters Minnie of Houston, TX, Maud of Wichita, Kansas, Mae of Van Buren, Ruby of Uniontown and Nora of Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Funeral service was held Saturday at 2 p.m., in the Uniontown Christian church with T. M. Carroll, pastor of Wood Memorial Christian church, officiating. Burial was in Dripping Springs cemetery directed by Ocker Funeral Home.
