Elsie R. "Payne" Hodges, 93, of Van Buren died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, in a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden and a son, Glen Hodges. She was a member of Uniontown Assembly of God.
Service will be today at 1 p.m. at Uniontown Assembly of God with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by daughters, Marjorie Misskelly of Cedarville, Vivian Dowdy of Van Buren, Shirley Linton of Alma, Evelyn Remler of Van Buren, Juanita Jones of Alma and Cathy Hodges of Van Buren; sons, Wayne Hodges of Van Buren and Donald Hodges of Fort Smith; sisters, Maydell Clay and Amy Powell, both of Van Buren; 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
