January 21, 1931 - January 8, 2008
Bobby Joe Smith, 76, of Cabot, and formerly of Rosston, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Sherwood.
The son of Frank and Allie Mae Dixon Smith, he was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Rosston. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of El Dorado Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one half-brother, Charles Ray McGraw; and one grandson, Tony Hudson.
Survivors include one son, John David Smith of Cabot; two daughters, Brenda Faye Hudson of Calion and Jo Ann Zukowski of Mablevale; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rosston Cemetery with the Rev. Don Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow. In case of inclement weather, services will be held at Rosston Baptist Church in Rosston. Arrangements are by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
