PLUMMER, F.M. - After an illness of four months F.M. Plummer died at his home in Springdale Saturday morning at 2 o'clock May 6th of lung trouble. Funeral services were conducted at the residence here after which the remains were interred in Friendship Cemetery Sunday morning. Deceased was 67 years of age and besides his wife leaves three sons, Tom, Martin and Ben, all of whom reside at this place. He also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Gyer, who lived on Hickory Creek, Mrs. Stella Garnett, who resides in Okla, but who was unable to be present at the funeral, and Mrs. Lage Chadoin. Mr. Plummer was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and in earlier life was a minister of the gospel. In his declining years most of his attention has been given to manufacturing violins and other musical instruments of the string type, and he has many friends in and throughout the state who will be pained to learn of his death.
