SPRINGDALE — Hulen W. Jones, 90, of Springdale died March 18, 2002, at Springdale. He was born Feb. 1, 1912, in Erble to William Rulus and Clyda Young Jones. He was a charter member of Phillips Free Will Chapel Baptist Church, where he was treasurer for 23 years. He was a member of the VFW and was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from Heekin Can Co. after 35 years of service. He moved to the area in 1944.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Clark Jones of Fayetteville; two nephews, W.A. Farmer of Rogers and Johnny Farmer of Springdale; one niece, Glenda Storment of Winslow.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale. The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, 109 W. Robinson Ave., Springdale, 72764.

Virginia C. Jones
FAYETTEVILLE — Virginia C. Jones, 92, of Fayetteville, died June 8, 2010. She was born July 11, 1917, at George, Ark., to Jasper and Vina Allred Clark. She was a charter member of Phillips Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulen Jones, whom she married Nov. 2, 1947.
She is survived by brother, Jonah Clark of Huntsville; six sisters, Nora Mitchell of Huntsville, Louisiana Henderson of Springdale, Polly Krantz and Opal Shipman, both of Oregon, Artie Clark of Louisiana and Georgia Hayes of Greenfield, Calif.; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2010, at Friendship Cemetery with Johnny Farmer officiating. Open visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. till 12 noon at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
