Troy Wayne Oldham, age 63, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010, at his home. Born in Cleburne County on March 11, 1947, he was the son of the late Orville Troy and Ruby (Hodges) Oldham.

A longtime resident of Cleburne County, Wayne worked as a process operator for Kimberly Clark in Maumelle. He was a veteran of Vietnam, having served in the United States Army. Wayne enjoyed being outdoors and loved gardening, hunting, mechanics, camping, and fishing. He was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Harlan Oldham of Heber Springs; one son, Damon Oldham of Searcy; two brothers, Charles Oldham of Hopewell and Allen Oldham of Heber Springs; two sisters, Edith Rackley of Quitman and Karen McCarty and her husband, J. D., of Drasco; one granddaughter, Maleah Oldham; and his nieces and nephews. Wayne is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 15, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 2:00 p.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Roger Harlan officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Pearson Cemetery. Delane Hooten, Gary Hooten, Dewayne Reeb, Donnie Harlan, Charles Oldham, and Allen Oldham will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are J. R. Hooten, Brandon Harlan, Mike Hildabrand, and James Burguner.
