Funeral services for Mickey Hollis, age 45, of St. Louis, were conducted Tuesday afternoon, July 29, in Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Junior and Charles Small officiating. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was born January 16, 1952 in Corning to Ross Albert Hollis and Essie Dell O'Daniel, and died July 26, 1997 in Arkadelphia, due to injuries suffered in an auto accident. He was self-employed as a dump truck driver, was a member of ABC ball park and head coach of the football team.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Opal Hollis, St. Louis; one daughter, Christina McCollum, Imperial, Missouri; two sons, Mickey Hollis, Jr., Cedar Hill, Missouri and Anthony Hollis, St. Louis; his mother, Mrs. Essie Hollis, St. Charles, Missouri; one sister, Lorene Ruff, St. Clair, Missouri; four brothers, Edward Eugene Hollis, St. Charles; John Hollis of St. Ann, Missouri, Jerry Hollis of Woodson Terrace, Missouri and David Hollis of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; three grandchildren, Lacey, Megan and Jeffery.

He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and his father.

Burial in Corning Cemetery.
