Maude S. Black
Mrs. Maude S. Black, 90, of Bentonville died Wednesday morning at Rogers Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 15, 1885, in Benton County and spent her entire life in this area. For 20 years, she was a dietician for Bates Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, John Black of Bentonville and Hugh Black of Fort Smith; a daughter, Pauline Patterson of Bentonville; a brother, Cloe Stephenson, of Bentonville; a sister; Mrs. Anna Peake of Bentonville; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel in Bentonville with Rev. Winfred Bridges officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery.
