James A. Tapp, 60 of Rudy, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in his home.

He was a retired Postal Service Employee in Fort Smith, and a Crew Chief for the US Air Force in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Tapp of the home; one daughter, Shannon Elizabeth Beck of Van Buren; one son, James Dustin Tapp of Rudy, AR; six sisters, Ellen Jane Gregory of Alma, Oma Lee Vaughan of Roland, OK, Doris Orsbun, Evelyn Yerton, Linda Redden all of Van Buren, and Beverly Trentham of El Reno, OK, Six grandchildren, Lillyan Isabella Tapp, Lexi Beth Powell, Levia Catherine Powell, Landon Chase Powell, Laynee Marie Tapp and James Lucas Tapp.

Pallbearers were James Tapp, Jerry Knight, Elysses Vaughan, Shelby Orsbun, Mike Walker, Rickey Hicks and Vince Farrell.
