Shirley A. Dickson
Shirley Alvin Dickson, 80, of Bentonville, died Sunday evening at Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville. He was born June 15, 1898, in Benton County.
He was a retired farmer and cattleman. He was a veteran of World War I, a past member of the Bentonville-Rogers Elks Lodge, and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors are one brother, Gordon Dickson, of Bentonville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Callison-McKinney Funeral Chapel in Bentonville with Rev. Jack Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the Bentonville Cemetery.
