Bethel Patsy Sue King Warner, daughter of the late Hamp King and Elizabeth Honeycutt King was born Novermber 23, 1937, in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life October 26, 2012, at her home in Calico Rock Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 11 months and three days.
She left home at an early age to work in Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Warner on December 14, 1957 and to this union two children were born. After returning to Calico Rock in the early 60's, she went to work for Baxter Lab, retiring after 30+ years of employment. Sue spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, provider, volunteer and friend. She enjoyed helping at the food room and loved her family, friends and church family. She enjoyed the simple things, like working in her yard and eating out every chance she could. Most days found her in the old white car with her big sunglasses on going to the store. She was of the Methodist faith and an active member of the Calico Rock United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jim Moser of Calico Rock; two grandson, Brent Moser of Calico Rock and Dylan Warner of Northbrook, Illinois; Dylan's mom, Sandi Nemmer of Northbrook, Illinois; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Freddy Fisher of Newport, Arkansas, Linda and Dale Strate of Holden, Missouri and Betty and Danny Dowell of Bethesda, Arkansas; one sister-in-law and bother-in-law, Phyllis and Jerry Millsted of Medford, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many good g
friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Steven Warner; four brothers, Lewis King, Howard King, Billy King, and Noel Jackson King; and one sister, Ester Hardin.
Funeral services were Monday, October 29, 2012, at 1:00PM at Calico Rock Methodist Chruch with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev Paul Seay officiating. Burial will be at Baxter County Memorial Gardens in Mt. Home under the direction Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Visitation was Monday, Oct 29, 2012, beginning at 12 noon at the Calico Rock United Methodist Chruch.
Memorials may be made to UMW or the Food Room, C/O United Methodist Church, PO Box 369, Calico Rock, Arkansas 72519.
Pallbearers were Jim Moser, Brent Moser, Freddy Fisher, Danny Dowell, Dale Strate, and Wade Moser.
