Poem Wrote by Scott Manatt (C)1982

Love is a burning fire consuming the body, heart and soul.
Love is being there when needed not knowing why.
Love is a mothers joy, a father's pride, a wife's stability,
A baby's teacher and a friend's friend.
Love is a shared joy, a memory lost, a priceless gem, a
forgotten dream, and a future unknown.
Love is a baby born, a daughter grown, a son raised and a
happy home.
Love is Doing. Thinking. Caring and sharing the secrets. Fears.
Dreams. Thoughts. Hopes and lives of those held dear.
Love is an unknown word. Misused. Abused. Warped. Distorted.
And forgotten but still burning. Hot bright and endearing.
Love is that which is unknown in fact realized in truth.
Envied by others and known by few.
Love is forgiveness, forgetting, lingering, waiting and
faithful to the end.
Love is love, no substituted, no make believe words, no secrets.
No Jealousy, envy or shame, no competing, lying, stealing,
lust, rivalry.
Love is that eternal, everlasting. Endearing feeling which is
freely given, often forsaken easily forgotten and taken
for-Granted.
Love is love, given in the begining shared through life. And
Rekindled in the resurrection through the blood, life and grace
of Jesus Christ, Son Of GOD, Savior and Redeemer.
Love is as love was as love shall always be.
Love is Love.......
