When Hardin Peel JENNINGS was born on January 27, 1883, in Choctaw Township, Arkansas, his father, Zachariah, was 56 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 30. He married Emily LINN and they had three children together. He then married Ruby COLLINS in October 1927. He also had two sons and two daughters with Lucy ANDREWS. He died on September 23, 1970, at the age of 87, and was buried in Arkansas.
