Dortha Cynthia Risener Boyd, age 91, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, formerly of Bee Branch, Arkansas, entered into the peacefulness of her loving Savior on Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Springhill Baptist Health in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Dortha was born to the late James Henry Oather Risener, and the late Bertha Gretchen Linn Risener in Morganton, Arkansas. Dortha met and married the love of her life, Coyn Boyd who, also, precedes her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Risener (Rooster) and James Odell Risner (Cat). Dortha was a Christian who demonstrated her faith in God by her strong testimony of His love. She was a wonderful daughter, an encouraging sister, a loving wife, a precious mother, and everyone's special "Mom Mom".

She leaves behind her two daughters, Sharon Johnson (Terry) and Lisa Priest (Rick), both of Jacksonville, Arkansas, to cherish her beautiful memory. She is, also, survived by her six wonderful grandsons, Jeff (Cherie) Johnson, Jon (Holly) Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Nick Priest, and Justin Priest, all of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Jason (Amber) Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas. She leaves behind her Christian legacy to five beautiful great granddaughters, Sarah Shillcutt, Lauren Shillcutt, Rebecca Johnson, Jenna Johnson, and Isabella Johnson and a precious great grandson, Matthew Johnson, two sister-in-laws, Ola Bradford and Joy Risener both of Conway. She is, also, survived by many nieces and nephews, her "Second" family at Second Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas, her Fox Ridge North Little Rock family, and numerous cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank her doctors who took such wonderful care of her during her declining health, Dr. Nancy Rector, Dr. MariAnn Harrington, and Dr. LouAnn Eades. A special "thank you" to Dr. Kimberly Curseen who went beyond any expectation as her primary care doctor. We, as her family, express our love and appreciation for the wonderful care provided to her.

Pallbearers are grandsons, Jeff Johnson, Jon Johnson, Jason Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Nick Priest, Justin Priest, and special friend, Mike Risher.
