February 12, 1884 - November 27, 1969
Mrs. Frances Hecker, 85, of 2649 Smackover Rd., died on Thursday afternoon in a local nursing home. She was the widow of John W. Hecker, a long-time resident of Camden, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons, John F. Hecker of Camden and Raymond Hecker of Hot Springs and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Proctor's is in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - November 28, 1969)
