Leonard W. Huddleston, 73, of Edgewood, Texas,
Born April 9, 1939, at New Edinburg, he was a son of the late Charles Edward Huddleston and Harry Mae McClellan Huddleston.
Mr. Huddleston retired from DuPont Industries, where he was a warehouse supervisor for many years. He loved spending time with his beloved family, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Huddleston never met a stranger, he loved people and visiting with them.
He was a member of Limestone Baptist Church in Balch Springs, Texas.
Mr. Huddleston was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary Brent Huddleston and Charles Glenn Huddleston; two brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Beasley Huddleston of Edgewood, Texas; two daughters, Cheryl Willingham of Cedar Creek, Texas, and Sheila Long of Brownsburg, Indiana; six stepchildren; two brothers, Aubrey Huddleston of New Edinburg, and Ellis Bryant of Honey Grove, Texas; three sisters, Mildred Naquin of Kingsland, and Sallie Wolfgang and Louella Thompson, both of New Edinburg; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service were Friday, October 26, 2012, at Buie Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Wilson officiating. Burial was in Reaves Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jerry Huddleston, Danny Huddleston, Barry Huddleston, Bradley McColey, Jimmy Ivie and Larry Henry.
Arrangements were under the direction of Buie Funeral Home of Rison.
