Edna - 1890-1967
Mrs. Edna Purifoy Greening aged 77, died early Monday morning in the Ouachita Hospital. She was the widow of J. G. Greening and a life long resident of Camden, and made her home for many years on Monroe St. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Greening is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R. E. Mosier of Camden and Mrs. J. L. Roach of Pine Bluff, one brother, G. S. Purifoy of Memphis, Tennessee and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Proctor's Chapel with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The body will remain at Proctor Funeral Home and the family will be at the home of Mrs. Mosier, 1069 Elm St. (Camden News - October 30, 1967)
