W. S. Grissom age 76, died at his home at LaCrosse Thursday. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; four sons, John Grissom of Ash Flat, Claude Grissom of Wenatchee, Wash., Oscar Grissom of Sikeston, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Newell of Bald Knob, Mrs. Rea Melton of Brockwell and Mrs. Edith Weaver of LaCrosse; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at LaCrosse by Rev. Hugh Cooper and burial was in the Lewis Cemetery, near Mt. Pleasant.
