Mary Leota Pettigrew, age 80, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010, in Enoch, Utah. Born June 19, 1930, in Beebe, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late William and Ethel Goodwin Hand.
Mrs. Pettigrew had worked as a cook in the hospital. Her religious belief was Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Pettigrew, on June 15, 1982. Mrs. Pettigrew was also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Pettigrew and his wife, Sherri, of California, C. J. Pettigrew of Utah; and Luby Lee Pettigrew and his wife, Alice, of Heber Springs; one brother, James L. Hand of Heber Springs; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Pettigrew is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the Chastain Cemetery with Rev. Bill Sutton officiating.
