Mrs. Mildred Palmer, 90, of Dexter, MO., passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, MO. Mrs. Palmer was born in Piggott, AR., on March 20, 1923. She was a Restaurant Manager and Shoe Factory Employee. She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by four daughters Kathryn Mead of Calvert City, KY., Brenda Carol Hall of Shawnee Town, IL., Betty Parker of Bloomfield, MO., Linda Garland of Boaz, KY.; one sister Jerri Jacobs of England, AR.; one brother Caroll Sutton of Doniphan, MO.; sixteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Harry Palmer; her parents John Henry and Lottie Beatrice (McCollom) Sutton; one son Willard Wayne Owen; three sisters Evelyn Moore, LuAnn McMullin, Mary Cook; two brothers John Sutton and Don Sutton.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 27, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with James Keel officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
