Eugene P. Kyzer, 92, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2011 in North Little Rock, Arkansas; was born on November 7, 1919 in Des Arc, Arkansas. Eugene served in Army Artillery in WWII in Europe for four years. He was one of the Howitzer's cannon crew. He had four other brothers that served in the US Military, two served in WWII. His brother Charles received five Bronze Stars in the African Campaign as an infantryman in WWII. He was a commercial fisherman for three years, he worked on transformers for Central Maloney for 23 years, as well as painted and sandblasted in his own business for over 30 years, retiring in 2007.

Eugene attended First Pentecostal Church on North Little Rock on I40, and he loved his Pastor J N Holmes. He liked big boats and owned one that he cruised up and down the Arkansas River on when he wasn't working. In his last years he loved to ride down county roads and view the scenery. He loved his wife Virginia, and depended greatly on her, and he always wanted his family to do well in life. Eugene worked hard and loved his family, he said "the only thing I hate about dying, is leaving my family" and he will be sorely missed by his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Harvey. Survivors include his wife Virginia Kyzer of North Little Rock; four sons Robert and wife Sandra of Conway, Ralph of North Little Rock, Danny of Jefferson, and Ronald of North Little Rock; grandchildren Kevin Kyzer, Kristi Blakley, Eric Kyzer, Jesse Kyzer, David Kyzer, Ryan Kyzer, Aubrey Kyzer, Tammy Oliver, John Copeland, and Jeremy Copeland; and 18 great-grandchildren.
