John H Smith Jr, 70, of Bigelow, Arkansas died Tuesday, August 7th, 2012. He was born February 3, 1942 in Quincy, California to John H., Sr. and Gladys Lune Smith.

John was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a member of Bigelow Assembly of God, and retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 35 years. He served in the United States Army 101st Airborne. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two sons, Neil R. and Scott K. Smith.

Cherishing his memory are his wife, Gladys M. Smith; two sons, Glenn H. Smith (Chandra) and Kurt J. Smith; grandchildren, Tyler, Cody, Brandi, Colt, and Keeli Smith; great-grandson, Aiden Hawkins; brothers, Seymour, Jesse, and Tucson Smith; sisters, Idella Griffin, and Anita Mullins; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
