September 9, 1926 - August 22, 2018
Cree Veen Slusser, 91 of Walnut Ridge, passed away August 22, 2018 at the Lawrence Hall Nursing Center in Walnut Ridge.
She was born September 9, 1926 to the late Marion and Dollie Dickerson Sitz. Cree was a Food Service Supervisor for a local Nursing Home, a loving Mother and member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arvin Slusser; one grandson, Blake Durham; and three brothers, Reed, Chester, and Coyn Sitz.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie (Beverly) Slusser of Lakeland, TN, and Coy (JoAnn) Slusser of Imboden; four daughters, Margaret Durham of Ozark, Judy Pearson of Springdale, Joyce (Steve) Parker of Batesville, and Shelly (Danny) Whitmire of Walnut Ridge; ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Terry Spradlin officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in the Whittaker Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. till the time of service.
