Lyda May White, 85, of Springdale died Saturday at Springdale. She was born Sept, 25, 1917, at Fayetteville to Frank and Maude Hunton Edison.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of Springdale.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey White.
Survivors include her two sons, Don White of Springdale and Larry White of O'Fallon, Mo.; one sister, Imogene Pearson of Siloam Springs; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale, with the Rev. Todd Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
