Joseph Akin
SAN ANTONIO — Joseph Franklin "Joe" Akin, 54, of San Antonio died Nov. 25, 2005, at Siloam Spings. He was born July 23, 1951, in Siloam Springs to Fred Julian and Ruth Maxine Petty Akin. He was a salesman for Insco Distributors in San Antonio and was a member of the Cornerstone Nondemoninational Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Larrisa Akin of Poway, Calif.; two uncles, Jack Petty of Claremore, Okla., and Earl Akin of Silaom Springs.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Dr A.P. Vohs officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
