Delbert E. Greer, 69, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born January 18, 1941, at Roseville, Michigan, and he died Monday, June 07, 2010. He was retired from the City of Beebe as Street Superintendent of eighteen years, and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Greer; his children, James H. Greer, William Earl Greer and Kathryn E. Greer; stepchildren, Rickey Hout, Debbie Smetzer and Tammy Clark; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene and Walter Greer; four sisters, Joyce Mercurio, Nettie Coleman, Sandra Ketchens and Grace McKnight; and nephews, nieces and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Norma Greer and four brothers, Howell, Fred, Bill and baby Johnny Greer.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
